The back of the buckle and pin are sandblasted and engraved with AP and ACIER INOX.

In order to rotate the inner flange diving scale, you need to unscrew the crown at 10 o'clock and then turn it clockwise. The crown needs to be screwed back into place before immersing it in water. The lug only rotates in one direction and the click lines up perfectly with the minute markers on the dial. The watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on one side. The coating is only applied to the inside of the crystal, not the outside. The crystal is quite thick and sturdy. Compared to other Royal Oak Offshore watches, the bezel is flatter and you can see that the edges of the crystal are more prominent.
